Meet Dr. Heather Dein:
The Heart of Highland Vet
Born and raised in Honesdale, PA, Dr. Heather Dein is the heart of Highland Veterinary Clinic. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton, she followed her passion for animals at St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical year at the University of Pennsylvania and has been practicing small animal medicine in northeast Pennsylvania since 2013.
Dr. Dein’s professional interests include preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and fear-free practices. A proud American Veterinary Medical Association member and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, she brings expertise and compassion to every patient. When she’s not helping pets, Dr. Dein enjoys the beauty of the northeast through skiing, hiking, gardening, or beekeeping.
